It is difficult to pin point when bar stools were first made, they became increasing popular in the 50s and 60s. There was a lull in their popularity in the 70s, but they became popular again after 2010. Just because there was a lull doesn’t mean that the styles of bar stools are limited, they have grown steadily alongside other furniture during the major movements in design. Here are some of the styles of bar stools that can work in any space to help you source restaurant bar stools for sale.

If you insist on being traditional

The shaker or farmhouse bar stools are for true minimalists. They are commonly depicted in old cartoons as stools at the corner of a kitchen or school. They are made of wood and have a plain varnish which gives it a clean look. With no major paint job, the bar stools highlight the natural design of the wood. No two chairs will have the same pattern.

If you are looking for something a bit more

Retro barstools with their thick padding and shiny leather/vinyl are also a popular choice. Commonly seen in old diners or bars, they have become iconic pieces along with the neon lights and black and white check-patterned floor.

Whether you are a fan of the early 60s-80s or maybe just something a little bit more luxurious than polished wood, this style is a good low maintenance choice. Choosing darker colors such as black and maroon allows the pieces to be versatile and can fit in different kinds of spaces. While bolder colors such as a bright red or something as unconventional as a bright yellow or neon colors, can be a strong statement piece.

If you are looking for something in-between

If are looking for something in-between, simple but not dated, the industrial style bar stools bridge that gap. These metal chairs can come in different colors such assilver, copper, and bronze.Along withdifferent degrees of polish.

They are sleek and can blend into contemporary styled spaces with white walls and light-colored furniture.There are also warehouse/industrial spaces with exposed brick and pipes. The same way retro bar stools can become statement pieces, industrial bar stools can be transformed from sleek to a more bohemian look with bright colors and patterns.This adds a nice contrast to modern places, or to fit in with other furniture.

There are many other kinds of bar stools that follow trends from classic to mid-century modern. These only scratch the surface of the different kinds of bar stools that can liven up your space with a blast from the past or vision from the future.

The interior of the cover

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

The interior of the coverIn a two-room apartment designers Alexander Malinin and Anastasia Sheveleva has created a Studio space instead of having walls between living room, kitchen and dining room – the issue of zoning was decided by using high open shelving. Light gray walls, floor colours of natural wood and Wallpaper with a simple soft print elements, Scandinavian style, on which the interior of the cover is built the entire interior.

Opinion InMyRoom

: living in the spirit of the Northern countries choose comfortable, functional furniture of simple forms. Pay attention to the upholstery – it should be made of natural fabrics pleasant to the touch. Sleek design and practicality – two of the most important characteristics of furniture in the style of Scandinavian modern. The main rule of the store reads: in small spaces, no extra parts. It is necessary to clean everything: jewelry, clothes, and even possible, stationery be folded in a special organiser.

All do it to make the space to breathe and be filled with light, as a consequence is visually extended. However, often the need of a bulky closet there, it’s easy to replace a few chests, shelves and clothes rack for clothes. And if we put a bed with drawers and open shelves – it will definitely not less functional. Point X is about to come, and in your list of gifts is not worth even a single “plus”? To please loved ones, don’t have to run to the store and stand in line, just a click of the mouse and the gift will be sent to you. If the situation is complicated by the fact that you have absolutely no idea what they want in the new year’s eve your loved ones, there are universal gifts: a new blanket, dishes in winter “sweaters” or decoration that will take pride of place on the Christmas tree. Act, as time to retreat anymore. In a large country house designer Hope Enikeeva has created a situation in the best British traditions. Bright living room with kitchen and dining area on the ground floor has a comfortable rest and receive visitors. The second floor is completely turned into cosy bedrooms, but the attic has turned into a real male the Kingdom – with a private cinema and a cigar room. Comfortable chairs near the fireplace, a soft sofa with a pile of pillows, light wood
the interior of the cover furniture, creating a cottage atmosphere of good old England.

1. Textiles
In small apartments with

cramped bathrooms

it is better to try to refrain from screaming and too thick colors in textiles and finishes to large size curtains, tablecloths, bedspreads. Your strict selection must pass a quiet, compact, and unobtrusive shades, such as white, beige, grey, dark wine, brown, graphite. In a small bedroom, for example, it is better to use lighter shades and if there is not enough bright spots, select one or two accent colors and buy in the range of pillows or a small rug.

2. Lighting
If the room is small, and poorly lit, it is not necessary to prevent the penetration of natural light, hanging at the Windows with heavy curtains or blinds. Double can light using a mirror: it will reflect light and make the space visually larger. Also choose small but lovely with cold lamps or light yellow, soft light. It can be laconic pendants, sconces or floor lamps.

3. Furniture
The furniture in should be comfortable and ergonomic, and if it does not look bulky and heavy, a small room will seem cozier and more spacious. So, closed cabinets well protect things from dust, but in a small apartment it is logical fewer of those things.
Open shelves and racks without doors will visually occupy less space and will eat up less light, but will also motivate you to keep order. Bet on today’s mobile, modular sofa and furniture with storage space – the room will be much more functional.

4. Decor
The decor in the form of a flat compact photo collages or paintings – surprisingly one of the most effective ways to add to your interior individuality, without sacrificing space. Avoid having lots of figurines on the shelves and racks, keeping in mind simplicity and minimalism. Small objects to hide out of sight, tucked in baskets or how to create a cozy atmosphere. This simple rule will help to make the interior is surprisingly light and unencumbered volume.

Symmetrical design furnitures

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

interiorThe main wish of the hostess to the symmetrical design furnitures of the apartment was to create the most open space, full of sunlight; and the owner the presence in the interior of living plants. Focusing on customer requirements, the designers dismantled the internal partition walls and created a bright and spacious extended family the kitchen-dining-living room. And then decorated with vertical and horizontal surfaces by fat bloke with exotic flowers, turning an urban apartment into a tropical Paradise.

The apartment is designed for a family of four husband, wife and two teenage sons. The customer is very interesting today, the profession he is studying botany and breeding of rare plants. Work is a passion of his life. He is so fascinated by her that some space of my house I wanted to turn into blooming thickets of tropical plants and flowers.

His wife is interested in Eastern philosophy, often in exotic countries, where tea is brought for the shop. Her main wish was an open space, maximum sunlight and air. Sons are teenagers dreamed of a separate games room where they could spend their free time.

kitchen and dining room combined with living room

First of all, the customer wanted in the apartment was the most open daring layout. We had to create a kitchen and dining room combined with living room, – spacious single extended family area bathed in natural light. To them was to join the personal space of parents, consisting of a bedroom and bathroom with separate entrance. By the way, the bathroom is located in the heart of the apartment – our desire to fit a real natural landscape in the space of modern residential apartments.

The hall was also to become part of the extended family space and serve as a lookout from which you view all rooms in the house.

The nursery was divided into functional parts: the private area (for sleep study), and the overall game, designed for receiving guests and leisure activities.

The main aim of the redevelopment was to create the symmetrical design furnitures, both visually and on the plan. Rooms are communicating vessels, in which instead of water from one to the other into the sunlight. We achieved this effect thanks to the dismantling of more internal room dividers. New partitions are mounted from the thin sound insulation smart glass with adjustable transparency.

Victorian furniture styles

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

dining roomTo combat tightness, all good. To place in the living room, dining room, victorian furniture styles and a study, while maintaining an area for entertaining and relaxing, this is the same as make secular reception in the student dining room while maintaining composure and dignity. But, as they say, in war as in war, everything is possible and even more, just need to think carefully about tactics and to choose the right direction.

That living room looked elegant and was decorated with taste, it is important to determine the overall style. In this case, eclectic is not the best choice: a mix of styles and colors will create a fuss.

To start, select color: monochrome simple matte shade that harmonizes with your inner idea of the perfect living room, where it would be a pleasure to work with, meet guests and to have dinner with the whole family. Now dilute it by half with white paint – and your tone is ready.

Starting from color, select a style

White goes Scandinavian minimalism and contemporary. Gray and blue – a traditional classic. Warm beige colours are impressed by the colonial style. But the French Provence and romanticism are inclined to pastel shades of pink and purple.

Make sure to match the walls have been decorated doors, skirting boards, textiles. Walls and large furniture is the background for a future film adaptation.

Wires, outlets, switches – these are fighters of invisible front. Once you’ll know exactly where you will put the sofa, work and dining table, it is necessary to thoroughly examine the issue of wiring of electro-communications. Everything, including Internet connections, must be thought through: the number and height of outlets, location of switches…

If you are preparing for a renovation, this is a great opportunity to clean up the wires in the victorian furniture styles. If opportunities stroebe wall is gone, hide the wires and cords in a decorative box, pull it under the baseboard, paint the wall color. Just make sure, no inappropriate transactions are never rolled and not peeking, even if timidly, from behind the sofa.

Mid-century modern furniture

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

dark woodThe landlord is a bachelor, engaged in photography and has long been dreaming of a mid-century modern furniture. He wanted to build a functional space not only for life but also for meetings with friends and family.

“It was important to preserve the layout of the Studio and properly zoned space to place in the room not just the kitchen and living room, and dining area, – says the designer. – Also, the customer requested to increase the size of the balcony to use it for storage of photographic equipment”.

Initially the apartment was open plan. And though Constantine invited the owner to make a separate bedroom with an area of 2 square meters, the concept of Studio apartments liked the client a lot more internal partitions to build was not necessary.

The only changes concerned the balcony just as the owner, the area increased twice (from 2.2 per square meter up to 4.4), and a balcony sheathed insulation – so there is an additional storage area.

Creates a sense of integrity of space

The entire floor of the apartment except the hallway and bathroom and parquet boards in dark wood. A single coating bringing together all areas and creates a sense of integrity of space. In the hallway used the tile 60×60 format is a practical solution.

The walls in the apartment painted, and the effect of wear in the hallway and living room done in paint “Metal harmony”. Partly the walls in the apartment are lined with sheets of veneer particle Board – a noble shade of dark wood immediately gives the room a solid appearance.

Kitchen facade is decorated with glossy MDF, and the apron is made of raw metal rough black paint – what you need for the apartment of a young man”, – says Konstantin.

As for the bathroom, played on the contrast: the lining of white tiles combined with black graphite slate – the joint decision of the designer and the customer.

One of the major tasks of the project mid-century modern furniture is to plan for compact storage. The kitchen appeared overhead cabinets, where to place utensils, and roomy bottom modules – here is hidden appliances. In the boxes next to the cooking surface convenient to store Cutlery and household stuff.

Casual contemporary furniture

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

design the interiorUnlike traditional loft, this apartment proportionate to the person casual contemporary furniture area is just 36 square metres. However small the area did not become an obstacle for designers who decided to design the interior in fashionable today style: tearing down unnecessary partition walls, the guys have completely changed the layout.

Now spaces flow smoothly into one another; the space is filled with light and visually seem larger than it actually is; in the best traditions of the loft finished and the filling of the interior. Read more about the project we were told its authors – the designers, Gregory and Julia Shoulders.

Our clients were a young couple, freelancers. She (age 25) is a wedding photographer; he (27 years old) engaged in the promotion in social networks. The guys are outgoing, travel a lot, take pictures, love healthy lifestyle and I love Board games with friends. In the near future I plan to get married.

The couple wanted the interior to meet modern requirements and tendencies. Our main task is to place two offline workstations, because freelancing involves a large proportion of their working time at home, as well as to create a zone of coworking (conference table) to discuss major operational matters with partners and clients.

layout of the apartment

All is transformed and seeks to transform the original layout of the apartment did not respond to the task, so a redesign was necessary. Since load-bearing walls in the apartment are not available, we were able to migrate and expand the doorway between the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen now combines its functions with a dining room that strives to merge with the living room. The latter in turn is also a bedroom and an area with jobs.

The choice of materials dictated the style of the apartment. As for the flooring, the preference was given to natural materials – highlighted the solid oak: a uniform flooring for all the rooms looks not only harmoniously, but also visually increases the size of the apartment.

The walls in the lobby, we decorated the Wallpaper: they are a bit “soften” the rough finishes – brick and decorative plaster. For ceiling finish used suspension system “casual contemporary furniture” cheap designer experiment. With this solution, we got translucent surface, visually expand the room and give it space and air. When you turn on the lamp, its rays reflecting in the faces of the aluminum strips, create in the interior a bizarre glare.

Urban Style Chairs

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

comfortable spaceLiving room  we have divided into two parts: bedroom and Urban Style Chairs. The first is separated by transparent sliding doors that allow both to expand and to isolate the space of the room. In the rest of the fit small long living room and an entire wall of closets. We moved the doorway to the living room, leaving him without the door, and almost completely dismantled the partition between the hallway and kitchen. Thus, the two public spaces become a single space. By combining the bathroom and bathroom, we won the place for the pantry, with the resulting bathroom has enough space even for two sinks.

The pros plan: spacious public area; isolated master bedroom with convertible wall; a separate storage room and plenty of closet space; large entrance hall and kitchen.

Lack of Windows in the living room

Cons: lack of Windows in the living room, the small size of the bedrooms. Objectives: to create a comfortable space for the couple and a small child; to build a place for the kids; to think and to design a spacious hallway and bathroom.
Solution: move the doorway to the bedroom, we have allocated a separate secluded area for a cot and things. This space can be separated by a curtain. Next fit a small storage room for household supplies. In the sleeping area we have tried to leave plenty of space for games and recreation with the child, without cluttering his cupboards and other furniture. We redesigned and combined bathroom so that reduced the square fit bath, toilet and wash basin with drawers, and in a special niche stood a large washing machine. In the separate kitchen provides cooking area
Urban Style Chairs.
The pros plan: functional bathroom; a comfortable bedroom with kids ‘ area and a place to play; separate utility room; a spacious kitchen and entrance hall.

Cons: lack of roomy walk-in closet; the layout suits a family with a child under a certain age.
